ESE Region

Stretching over 2000 square km, the South East region is a nature lovers' delight. The region consists of numerous drowned river valleys, estuaries, and some prominent sandstone headlands. Most desirable is the region's collection of beautiful sandy beaches, which are known for having the warmest waters north of Virginia. The region is also famed for the daily rise and fall of the highest tides in the world. Throughout the region one will discover many trails, marshes, and landscapes covered in a variety of trees and plant life, along with bountiful acres of farm produce.

The South East region borders the coastal waters of Baie Verte and the Northumberland Straight. The Confederation Bridge connects the South East region to Prince Edward Island. The southern part of the region borders the Province of Nova Scotia and the Cumberland Basin, which is famed for the daily rise and fall of the highest tides in the world. Shepody Bay and the Petitcodiac River — also renowned for their rising tides — border the eastern area of the region. To the north, the region borders the cities of Dieppe and Moncton, a thriving urban area with all amenities.

The South East region is accessible via The Trans Canada Route 2, or the NB Route 15. Both routes are divided four-lane highways. The South East Region is between 20 and 50 km east of Moncton, and is within a 15–30 minute drive to the Greater Moncton International Airport. The South East region is generally within a day's drive to many cities in North America.
