Working together…managing our human resources!

As part of its expanded mandate, Enterprise South East is placing more emphasis on developing its region’s labour force and helping its employers address labour challenges. The Labour Force Development Officer who, along with our partners, identifies the needs of the local labour market and finds common solutions for employers, communities, educational institutions and government.

The programs and services offered to businesses:

Assistance in business and human resources planning
Access to information on the local labour market
Organizing work-related training and seminars
Access to pertinent government services

More specifically, our services consist of:

Working with existing entrepreneurs in order to determine their needs and requirements in human resources.
Evaluating human resources needs of the region’s employers by economic sector activity.
Ensuring good communications with employers in working to increase the level of employment.
Organizing training seminars in order to supply existing businesses with better management tools.
Coordinating human resources training to better meet employer needs.
Communicating with other organizations and partners to avoid duplication of services.
Maintaining regional labor statistics.
Offering support to businesses when hiring employees.
Promoting government programs and services with small and medium-sized businesses and the community.
